The more I think I have things figured out the more I find I don’t know. This year is no different. From the production side of our company we have been experiencing very abnormal weather patterns that started late last spring and carried through the summer and fall. Being primarily “outdoor” producers this has created a bit of havoc with our ability to predict the timing of our crops.

We have a great team here and they pull out all the stops when it comes to delivering on our customers needs however at times mother nature has other plans and she is a lot bigger than we are. The roller coaster weather pattern of cool summer, hot fall, very wet early winter caused some of our crops, like Ginesta, to flower much earlier than normal while others like our waxflower and ranunculus to flower significantly later than normal. The volume of product is, and will be there, it’s just that good old mother nature hasn’t let them out to play yet. As a result of this we expect to have an over the top spring when it comes to variety and availability. Stay tuned!
